Below are select crop condition and progress maps from today’s Crop Progress Report.

Of note:
- Corn: Condition down 1 percentage point, good to excellent nationally, with Kentucky taking the biggest hit, down 6. Silking looks to be about over, and Dough and Dented fall slightly more behind the 5-year average.
- Soybeans: Condition no change nationally, but some notable drops in Mississippi and Kentucky.
- Spring Wheat: Harvest picking up speed. No significant changes to conditions.
- Rice: Condition numbers right around their 5-year average in many of the reported states. Missouri and Texas are looking the best compared to their 5-year averages
- Cotton: Cotton Squaring reported this week, due to being behind pace, for only the second time in the USDA’s history (Last time was 2021). Go to infographics in the link above to see the Cotton Squaring chart.
