Of note:
- Corn: No national change in condition overall. A few larger positive moves helped offset a greater number of smaller declines—8 of the 18 reported states made negative changes. Notably, Ohio improved by 8 points, while Colorado and Michigan each rose by 6. On the downside, Kentucky, Illinois, Iowa, North Dakota, and Pennsylvania all declined by 2 points or more.
- Soybeans: National condition up 1 point this week, but otherwise a similar story to corn. Ohio, Louisiana, and Arkansas each improved by 4 points or more, while a long list of states saw declines of 2 points or more. Dropping Leaves reported for the first time in 2025, coming in at the lower side of the 5-year range.
- Spring Wheat: Montana and North Dakota both declined compared to last week, while conditions remained unchanged for the rest of the reported area. Down 1 nationally.
- Cotton: Despite big increases in Kansas and Louisiana, the national condition slipped by 1 point this week.
