- Soybeans: National good to excellent condition up 1 point this week. Michigan (+4) has the biggest weekly change. National harvest progress, much like corn, is behind the 5-Year Average by 1%. Both North Dakota and Nebraska are in our map’s red category. North Dakota is 15% behind its 5-Year Average, and Nebraska is 13% behind its 5-Year Average. All other states are on track or slightly ahead.
- Winter Wheat: Planting progress is only 2% behind the national 5-Year Average at 34%. Kansas falls to 13% behind its 5-Year Average. No other states are notably ahead or behind.
- Cotton: Condition ratings have big changes in both directions in individual states, but remain unchanged nationally. Harvest looks to have started in almost every state. No states look to be behind or ahead dramatically.
