There are no major issues with the Winter Wheat crop. Nationally the crop is rated 49% Good to Excellent, compared to last week’s 50%, last years 26%, and the 5 year average of 44%. While the main producing state of KS is slightly below the 5 year average, conditions across the rest of the country are near ideal, with the crop in 15 of the top 18 states better than average, and 14 of those by at least 10 percentage points.
